I created this flyer to raise awareness around the the practice of separating families seeking asylum in the US, and placing the children in cages.
The flyer challenges the viewer to reflect on whether their compassion is limited to their own immediate circle.

Stay Loud IG Story Video
After the protests and social media posts surrounding the murders of George Floyd & Briana Taylor began to die down, I was inspired to create this post as a reminder that advocating for Black Lives and social justice was not just a moment, but a continual practice.
I hand drew the lettering in Procreate, then redrew several more versions and combined them in adobe after effects to create the animation. Central to the video is archival audio of a Malcolm X interview, where he brings into question the claim of those that say “progress is being made,” before it has truly occurred.

We do no good to only speak up when the video is posted, or the hashtag is trending, then stay quiet until the next breaking story.
There’s still much work to be done. Let’s keep making noise & demanding justice.
